Vedic Traditions: Remaining True to the Perennial

 (July 21-23)

The theme for this Vedic Traditions weekend is Remaining True to the Perennial: Understanding this connection with the seerers, the Rshis.  Finding the connection with the Perennial Lineage of the Vedic Tradition shows the Rshis Tradition is not dead.  The Lineage, it’s teaching, its knowledge, its Realization, is Perennial.  It has no history.  How can the Eternal have history? The consciousness of that Eternity, of being aware of it in every breath of your life, in every act, in every word, in every blink of an eye, an awareness of that Presence, is what happens to a person who takes to the path of meditation.  That is called expansion of consciousness, the process of initiation -- Yoga diksha - initiation, that passing onward, that shakti  Is Yoga; that is Union.  Union of the Perennial with that which has ceased to think of itself as a Perennial nature of Infinity.  That is the nature of Perennial Vedic Tradition.
