Meditation:
Practice and Philosophy in the Himalayan Tradition and Applied in Daily
Life (July 24-25-26)
- Learn and practice in the perennial tradition of the Himalayan
Yoga Masters.
- Experience systematic methods of meditation as taught by Swami
Veda in Superconscious Meditation and Mantra and Meditation.
- Be guided in the practices of meditation and contemplation as
defined by Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras and in the teachings of Chapter
six of the Bhagavad Gita.
By understanding the mind and
its functions begin to control the modification leading to the internal
states of quietude and contentment. In the silent, still, nirodha mind
you will understand the goal of meditation as given by sage Vyasa in
the commentary on the first sutra of the Yoga-sutras of Patanjali:
Yogah samadhi. Yoga is samadhi. Nothing short of Infinity will
do. Be ambitious. Receive 25 hours of Yoga Alliance contact
credit as you are guided by internationally recognized experts in the
field of Raja Yoga including the inspiration of world-renown Swami Veda
Bharati.
